Semi Truck Chaos Causes Traffic Nightmare In El Paso

Ok, first question ... tell the truth, Elon ... is Tesla experimenting with self driving semi's? Seriously, 18 wheelers in El Paso have gone crazy. WTH?

It was not a good day to be driving in, or near, a semi in El Chuco. 4 semi truck accidents jacked up traffic on I-10 in El Paso, 1 during a rain storm, the others in pretty good weather conditions.

Benicio Del Toro and Leonardo DiCaprio were recently in the 915 filming ... are they working on a sequel to Maximum Overdrive?

Maximum Overdrive, in case you don't know ... or don't remember ... was a pretty forgettable 80's movie based on a pretty forgettable short story by Stephen King.

A passing meteor had all the machines in the world go "skynet" and a group of people are trapped in a truck stop by rogue semi's, which Emilio Estevez is forced to refuel.

Don't bother watching it. Save those 2 hours of your life, I just gave you all the info you need.

Seriously, that's all you need to know. Yesterday though, several semis did go a little cray - cray, bringing I-10 east AND west to a standstill in central, east and west El Paso.

First, a semi flipped on I-10 west near Chelsea with the cab straddling the median, poking on to I-10 east which caused both sides of "10" to back WAY up. 10 west was completely closed for quite a while.

Later, another 18 wheeler flipped over .. also on I-10 west ... near Porfirio Diaz. That didn't affect 10 east much but 10 west was also closed completely for a very long time as the wreck was cleared.

Theeeeeen .... on I-10 west, near Horizon, it happened AGAIN. Seriously, see a pic here.  In addition to the semi accident, an EPPD motorcycle cop went down somewhere in the vicinity of that one.

A 4th toppled semi jacked up according to KVIA but I couldn't find any info on that, (4th), accident.
