Is Chick-Fil-A About to Become Your New Favorite Streaming Service?
Chicken nuggets with a side of…. Reality TV?! Apparently that’s what we’ll be getting soon after the news that Chick-Fil-A will be diving into the world of entertainment television. I swear I’m not making this up.
Chick-Fil-A plans to launch a new streaming platform filled with original content
Yep, you read that right—your favorite chicken sandwich spot is about to become your new go-to for family-friendly shows…. Or, they’re going to try and be that for you.
According to online media reports, Chick-Fil-A is partnering with big-name studios to produce and acquire unscripted content, with a hefty budget of $400,000 per half-hour episode. Brad Gibson, known for his work on *The X Factor* and *Top Gear*, is leading the charge to fill your screens with wholesome entertainment.
The new platform is set to debut this year
Glassman Media, the team behind NBC's *The Wall*, is reportedly working on a family-friendly game show. And if you’re a fan of 13 Reasons Why, you’ll be happy to hear that its producer, Michael Sugar, has a 10-episode series in the works.
Now, I have done deep research to answer two very important questions: Why in the world does Chick-Fil-A need or want a streaming platform? I mean, are they not doing well enough with their amazing customer service and food?
I have yet to really find a good answer for that question, a part of me thinks we’re all being Punked.
And the second important question I have is: Will the streaming platform be available to viewers on Sunday’s?
Guess we will all have to wait and find out. Until then, what do you think about this strange news?
