It's been confirmed that Taco Bell will be building an all new location in Lawton on the corner of 38th Street and Lee Boulevard. We'll keep you updated on the progress. There's no official word yet as to when they'll break ground, or when they expect to have it completed and opened. Hopefully it'll be sometime next year, maybe as soon as Summer 2022. Having more options and places to eat out in Lawton, Fort Sill is a good thing, not to mention the job opportunities this will bring to the community. It's a win win for sure. It'll also be interesting to see what design they choose for the new Taco Bell building/restaurant. Will it be a two story like the newest Taco Bells up North, or single story? Either way it'll be nice to have another Taco Bell in town.

Taco Bell will be the first new business to build on the empty lot at the corner of 38th St. and Lee Blvd. As big as it is I'm sure more and more business will start filling it in as time goes by. They certainly have the space for it and there's no telling what other businesses are considering building there once Taco Bell takes root. It's like anything else, someone has to go first then everyone else follows. It's exciting to see the land being developed and the potential for more businesses to move and open in Lawton, Fort Sill.
