Mile-Long Garage Sale Planned For Memorial Day Weekend In Lawton

Estate Sales By Charli Jones has announced a Mile-Long Garage Sale planned in Lawton for Memorial Day weekend. The Mile-Long Garage Sale is set for Sunday, May 24 and Monday, May 25 along SE 75th Street on the east side of Lawton.

In a post to Facebook on Thursday, May 21, Estate Sales By Charli Jones announced that the Mile-Long Garage Sale would be taking place Memorial Day weekend with multiple families. The sale will start at 2007 SE 75th Street in Lawton, and stretch a mile south down SE 75th Street.

The Mile-Long Garage Sale in Lawton will begin at 9 a.m. Sunday, May 24.

Hopefully the Memorial Day weekend rainy forecast will hold off for the Mile-Long Garage Sale this weekend because it sounds like it will be an awesome time to shop for great deals!

The sale will kickoff Sunday, May 24 at 9 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. The sale will pick back up at 9 a.m. Monday, May 25, and will continue through the day. Shoppers are encouraged to to take Highway 7 to SE 75th Street and head south. The homes participating in the Mile-Long Garage Sale are located a mile south of the KSWO station.

Memorial Day weekend in Lawton will also feature a music festival and the opening of aquatic facilities.

Memorial Day weekend in Lawton will be a busy one! There are several activities happening this weekend along with the Mile-Long Garage Sale.

• Fort Sill's Lake Elmer Thomas Recreation Area will host its grand opening on Friday, May 22.
• Medicine Park's annual Roots Ball will take place May 22-24.
• The City of Lawton will open its aquatic facilities on Monday, May 25, including hosting a Memorial Day Lap Swim and free admission at the new Aquatic Center.
