Snow is a rare occurrence in Lawton, but when it does, most residents grab whatever they can find to sled down some of the town's top sledding spots.

It's probably best to sled with actual sleds, but since snow is so uncommon, most residents don't own actual sleds. So most Lawton resident sled with trash can lids and cardboard boxes - just about anything that will help them slide down a hill.

And those who are stationed here at Fort Sill who are from up north, they actually standout with actual sleds.
