Lawton, Fort Sill has a brand new restaurant, Phillyhoma just recently opened for business. They're located in the old Crockett's BBQ building at 1508 W. Gore Blvd. I stopped by during lunch this afternoon to take a quick look. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to eat there, but I'll be going either tonight or tomorrow afternoon to try it out. It looked and smelled amazing, I can't wait to give it a try for myself. Now I have to decide what to get...

The news broke around this same time last year when the rumors were confirmed that Phillyhoma was going to open a Lawton location. It took a while, but I'm sure it'll be well worth all the waiting we did. Just from what I saw and smelled today, I'm convinced it was. I've never eaten at Phillyhoma, I've heard about them and know people who have. There's one in Edmond, OK. that's really popular and now we have one in Lawton!

So what exactly is Phillyhoma and what do they serve? Philly Homa is a restaurant that specializes in Philly cheesesteaks and the pictures on their website and Facebook page look ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!

According to the official Philly Homa website and menu posted they have all kinds of different Philly cheesesteaks made with several different types of cheese like Queso, Provolone, Cheddar, Cheese Whiz, Swiss, Gouda, Pepper Jack, American, White American, and Mozzarella. Some of the Philly cheesesteaks on the menu include The Regular Philly Cheesesteak, Bacon Cheesesteak, Philly Buffalo Cheesesteak, Western Cheesesteak, Pizza Philly Steak, Chicken Bacon Ranch, Southwest Philly, Mac N' Cheese Philly and more!

They also have Chicken Wings, Buffalo Chicken Tacos, Grown-Up Grilled Cheese, Salads of all types and their sides sound amazing. I definitely want to try the Sidewinder fries and onion rings. The appetizers sound really good to like the Philly Queso Fries, Philly Steak/Chicken Nachos, and the Smoked Gouda Mac N' Cheese bites. The menu looks incredible and so does the food. They're open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00-am to 8:00-pm. You can check them out on their official Facebook page.
