Well the final three regular season MacArthur Highlander games are upon us. Where has the season gone?

We were just going along enjoying the season only to look up see that talk of play-offs are upon everyone's minds.

The Highlanders are in a pretty good position now at 5-2 over all and 3-1 in the district with Altus, Capital  Hill and Ardmore still remaining on the schedule to finish out the regular season.

Last week, the all important district points - and the maximum of 15 - were earned for MacArthur with a win against the Duncan Demons. Wow! Very much needed precious points that could decide the Highlanders position in the district at the end of the season, just like they did last year in the other district across the way with Guthrie, Deer Creek, and McGuiness in a 3-way tie for first place. This could happen if Del City wins out, and Big Mac defeats Ardmore in the last game of the season. The district points then would decide first, second and third place.

So what's at stake?

The top two host at home, while 3rd place would travel week one in the playoffs - something MacArthur would like to avoid.

But before I get to far ahead of myself, Duncan will play Del City next week which could also have a huge barring on the district standings. While Big Mac has the Altus Bulldogs coming to town this Friday at Cameron stadium.

Join myself, Eric Sharum, along with Jay Burk, Josh, Maynard, and Nick Bryant on the sidelines for all the exciting play by play.

In case you missed it, there wasn't anything more exciting then 50 points scored in the second half of last week's ball game.

Check back here after the game for a recap, stats and pictures of the MacArthur Highlanders vs Altus Bulldogs match-up.

See you at the game!
