Oklahomans who are already registered to vote are now able to view sample ballots for the Nov. 5 election. Oklahomans 18 and older that are not registered to vote still have time to register. Oklahoma's registration deadline to vote in the Nov. 5 election is Oct. 11.

How to view sample ballots in Oklahoma.

Registered voters in Oklahoma can view the sample ballot of the Nov. 5 election online at the Oklahoma Voter Portal. The sample ballot allows voters to see what will be on the official ballot on Nov. 5. All voters in Oklahoma will have the opportunity to vote for the next President of the United States.

Other voters in Oklahoma may also be voting on state representation or other local matters. These ballots will also be available through the Oklahoma Voter Portal.

How to check voter status in Oklahoma.

In September, Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt and other elected officials announced that the state purged 453,500 voter registrations. This removal was done over the course of four years through routine auditing. The voter registrations that were removed were done so for two reasons: the voter moved states/countries or the voter hasn't voted since 2016.

If an Oklahoma voter was removed, they are able to register again if they currently meet Oklahoma's voting requirements. Since the purge, Oklahoma voters have been encouraged to check their voter registration ahead of the Nov. 5 election. Oklahomans can register to vote or check their voter registration status online through the Oklahoma Voter Portal.
