Tuesday kicks off Oklahoma's five day stretch of severe weather chances. As each day get closer, the forecasts start to become clearer, and its looking like Friday, March 6, will be the worst of the five days.

Friday's severe weather chances have already been upgraded to an enhanced risk, particularly for areas along and east of I-44. Areas west of I-44 are still at a slight risk for severe weather on Friday.

All modes of severe weather are possible across Oklahoma on Friday, including tornadoes.

If Oklahoma residents didn't take the weekend to get prepared for storm season, then they'll definitely want to make sure they're prepared before Friday. According to the Oklahoma Mesonet, all modes of severe weather are possible across Oklahoma on Friday, including damaging winds, large hail, flash flooding, and, of course, tornadoes.

Severe storms expected to begin in Oklahoma on Wednesday and continue through Friday.

Oklahoma residents may start to see severe storms ramp up on Wednesday. And severe weather is expected to continue through Thursday and Friday.

Portions of southeast Oklahoma have the biggest threat for severe weather. On Thursday, western Oklahoma will be at the greatest risk, with the chance for hail up to two inches or more. And all eyes will be on Friday with the biggest chance for severe weather for a majority of Oklahoma.

According to the NOAA NWS Storm Prediction Center, the primary risks all three days are large hail, severe wind gusts, and possible tornadoes. Oklahoma residents are encouraged to remain weather aware and be prepared to take action if storm warnings are issued.
