
Snow And Rain Possible In Oklahoma This Weekend
It will be warm, dry and windy in Oklahoma leading up to Friday. Another cold front is expected that will bring in cooler temperatures and the opportunity for rain and snow. On Sunday, a warming trend will start back up for Oklahoma.
Before the next cold front and rain potential, Oklahoma will see multiple days of elevated fire weather. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are expected to have elevated fire weather in western and northern Oklahoma. The fire weather is expected in the afternoons with high temperatures in the 70s, average wind speeds up to 30 miles per hours and maximum wind gusts up to 45 miles per hour.

As a Pacific cold front moves through Oklahoma before the weekend, Oklahoma could see snow Friday and early Saturday. Oklahoma also has a chance for snow/rain late Saturday. Snow will be possible in northwest Oklahoma and thunderstorms are expected in southeast Oklahoma.
KFOR Chief Meteorologist Mike Morgan expects parts of western Oklahoma to see snow on Friday. He expects the snow to even reach parts of Altus.
Below average temperatures expected Saturday in Oklahoma.
After the cold front moves through, Oklahoma will see below average temperatures Saturday. Daytime highs on Saturday in Oklahoma will be in the mid-40s to low 50s and overnight lows are expected to be in the low 30s or upper 20s.
On Sunday, daytime temperatures will start back on a warming trend and overnight lows will remain in the 30s until next week.
