
More Severe Storms Expected Wednesday In Oklahoma
More severe weather is expected in Oklahoma on Wednesday, April 23 as storms are in the forecast for the afternoon and evening. All hazards are possible, including golf ball sized hail, wind gusts up to 70 miles per hour and a very low tornado threat.
Most of Oklahoma are at a marginal risk of severe weather Wednesday, while portions of western and northwest Oklahoma are at a slight risk. Storms could start as early as noon and last through 2 a.m. Thursday morning.
According to the National Weather Service in Norman, "the greatest risk for severe weather in our area will occur if a line of storms organizes in Colorado/Kansas and moves southeastward into northwest Oklahoma."
