Birdbox Studios Epic Christmas Cards [VIDEO]

This is Christmas card level: EPIC! Birdbox Studios have created the world's greatest Christmas card complete with pop up animation, music, voices and even snow! Birdbox Studio is best known for their animated short films that are seen all over YouTube and elsewhere on the web. This year they've taken it to a whole new level with their Birdbox gift cards.

I'm not sure if these are available to purchase, or what they cost. It's possible the studio will find a way to mass produce them and get them in stores or make them available for purchase on their site. I hope so!

I can't imagine how long it took to make this card, in the video they remark "It takes a long time to make" and after seeing kind of how they work I can imagine it would take a lot of time. It appears that the animation is a scrolling or rolling index of paper that creates the movement, all of which had to be hand draw and synced together. With three different windows of movement and the panels interacting that in itself is an amazing feat. Add in a grand finale with snow and it's the greatest Christmas card ever made!
