‘Holiday For Heroes’ Christmas Card Program Is Underway
For the seventh consecutive year, the Oklahoma Institute for Child Advocacy us inviting school children and adults alike are invited to participate in the “Holiday for Heroes” Christmas card program.
One and all are invited to create home-made, hand fashioned Christmas greeting cards that will be given to U.S. military veterans who reside in all seven of Oklahoma’s state Veterans’ Centers, military personnel currently undergoing treatment at Fort Sill’s Reynolds Army Hospital, and at the Veterans Affairs medical center in Oklahoma City.
Last year, 8,237 cards were handed out to hospitals and the seven veterans’ centers in Oklahoma.
Those interested in participating should send cards to:
Holiday for Heroes, Attn Joe Dorman, P.O. Box 559, Rush Springs, OK 73082
