Today's Unsigned/Indy Artist Thursday featured artist comes to us from the Kansas City, MO area, and while he doesn't have a very "country" sounding name, he definitely has a country sound. He is definitely not a new comer to country music, just to the Nashville music "scene".

Noe Palma was surrounded by musical influences his entire life. Growing up in a musical household, both of his parents are singers, his earliest musical memories include singing to Elvis Presley and "All Shook Up" as a child. He was in choirs through out school, but new early on that it wasn't the kind of music he wanted to perform. After high school, Noe tested the local country music waters performing in several bands before founding The Broken Cowboys. The band toured Missouri and its surrounding states, playing every major venue in the region. They developed a very good sized following, and took second place in the 2001 Colgate Country Music Showdown where they came to the attention of Tim McGraw's manager Scott Siman and RPG Management.

Palma has continued to tour the midwest extensively, and has focused on his writing in recent years, teaming with established Nashville songwriters like Bobby Pinson, Ashley Gearing and Dallas Davidson. Noe has developed a stage show that many have said rivals any performer in country music, and finally, he has released his debut album Get My Name Right, and appropriate title for an artist with such an uncommon name.

The latest single from that debut album is in our spotlight today. Noe Palma and "I'll Be Your Whiskey" is today's Unsigned/Indy Artist Thursday Catch of the Day, new music you haven't heard, but you'll want to hear it again.
