Merle Haggard ‘Let’s Chase Each Other Around The Room’ KLAW Classic [VIDEO]

Hard to believe, but it was 28 years ago today - September 22nd, 1984 - that Merle Haggard's song 'Let's Chase Each Other Around The Room Tonight' was #1. It's the featured classic on K-LAW 101's Classic Saturday Morning.

It was Merle's 35th #1 song. He would go on to have a few more for a total of 38 #1's. Not bad for a guy who in his early 20's spent three years in San Quentin state prison in California for attempting to rob a Bakersfield tavern.
