More than 70 attendees at a web developers conference this week in Portland, Oregon, wanting to help out in some way, held an impromptu all-night hackathon to create help4OK.org

Housing and hotels are in short supply, and many people are trying to get in and out of impacted communities. Traffic congestion obstructs support and relief efforts. A group of web activists attending DrupalCon Portland collaborated on the site in an effort to help and to respond to these needs.

Help4OK.org helps coordinate offers of housing and transportation assistance with people who are in need.

If you would like to read more about the development of the website, here is their blog post.
