Oklahoma is full of some of the best small towns in the nation! Now Oklahoma residents are being encouraged to vote for their favorite small town in Oklahoma to help crown one of the state's own as America's Favorite Small Town.

Parade magazine and travel-platform Steller are currently hosting the America's Favorite Small Towns Competition, which is a nationwide search for unique, small-town communities. Qualifying communities must have 250,000 residents or less.

According to an article from News On 6, finalists will be featured in Parade's "Favorite Small Towns in America" print issue, and the winner will be showcased on the cover. The winner will also receive national media coverage for a July 4th celebration, including a potential celebrity guest and sponsor giveaways.

The winner will also get a "Favorite Small Town in America" badge and promotional signage. So bragging rights forever!

How to vote for your favorite small town in Oklahoma.

If you're from a small town in Oklahoma and went your community to get recognition or become America's Favorite Small Town, you'll want to encourage your local city government, chambers or the state tourism offices to enter your town at americasfavoritesmalltowns.parade.com.

Some small towns in Oklahoma have already been accepted into the competition. Official voting will begin in November!
