As crazy as this past year has been for most of us, I think we're all ready to say goodbye to 2022 and ring in the new year this weekend. Here's to hoping 2023 will be a much better year for us all. *Fingers crossed*

Either way, I'm sure you're looking forward to New Year's Eve and any plans, parties, or events you'll be attending to say farewell to 2022. So what does Mother Nature have in store for us this Saturday and Sunday?

From the looks of it, she'll be giving us a reprieve from all the cold and winter craziness for a few days. Right now according to the Farmers' Almanac and the current forecast we'll have warmer temps and no rain.

The weather prediction for both Saturday and Sunday for New Year's Eve and New Years' Day is around 60 degrees during the day and low temperatures in the 40s at night. Not too bad, better than it has been.

It will be partly cloudy on both days but so far there isn't any chance of rain, snow, sleet, or other precipitation in the forecast. We could actually see temperatures in the mid-60s and mid-40s throughout the weekend.

So whatever your plans are for New Year's Eve and day you'll have decent weather for any travel you may have to do. Finally, Mother Nature is going to quit being moody and give us some good weather for a change.

Looks like we'll be able to finish out 2022 on a high note, weather-wise. Enjoy it while it lasts, soon it's going to get really cold and there's a possibility of snow and ice in mid-January through early February of 2023.
