The Harsh Yet Funny Reality Of Quarantine

It's another hilarious parody commercial, this time from Pandemic Productions. I think the only good thing to come out of the COVID-19 pandemic is all the funny memes, videos and parodies people are doing to occupy their time and entertain the rest of us. This video absolutely nails it. We've all been bored, tired and pacing the floors wondering when it will all end and we can finally get back to normal. Being in quarantine or self lock down is getting old.

In the meantime we get to watch videos like this one that really show the true nature of our situation. I admit at first I was kind of happy to spend most of my time at the house, but as the days turned into weeks then months, it's definitely ran it's course and is no longer fun. However there are people who have it a lot worse, who've lost jobs and are facing incredibly tough times ahead. I'll take boredom over that any day. I try to remember that when I start complaining about what's going on.

Luckily for us Lawton, Fort Sill hasn't been hit as hard as other places around the country. We're actually seeing things open back up, last Friday the bars, taverns and nightclubs re-opened. Of course following alt the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) guidelines. Today the Apache Casino Hotel re-opened their doors for the first time in months. Both the casino and hotel are open, if you want details visit their official site. So we're at least seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. But it will be a while longer before things return to normal. In the meantime we'll just have to entertain ourselves and find some fun and humor as we go.
