What Are They Building on N.W. Cache Road in Lawton?

If you've been down N.W. Cache Road near the intersection of 38th Street and Cache Road you've probably seen all the construction going on. The open lot next to the Ez-Go #27 at 3164 N.W. Cache Road has been purchased and they're building something at that location. They've been working on the site non-stop for the past several weeks. The BIG QUESTION people are asking is: "What will it be and when will it be open?"

Somewhat, fairly reliable sources report that the new businesses will be a carwash. Now keep in mind this isn't 100% confirmed, but that's what the rumor mill is speculating it will be. After looking around the site it kind of makes sense. They're pouring foundations and working on all the surrounding parking and the structure itself. There is a lot of plumbing going in, so the rumor mill may be correct, it could be a carwash.

Our happy, humble, medium-sized metropolis is growing by the day. We've seen several new businesses move to town over the past year or two. Even the COVID-19 pandemic couldn't stop the construction. It may have slowed it down or paused it a little, but we're seeing a lot of new places and companies open up in Lawton, Fort Sill. While it's been a rough couple of years on local and area businesses it's getting better by the day.
