If you're area has a local farmer's market, you may start seeing farmers from Rush Springs with those big, green treats with sweet red insides. But if you can't wait, you can now head over to Rush Springs to get your watermelon - it is the Watermelon Capital of the World, after all.

Miller Farms in Rush Springs recently opened their roadside fresh fruits and vegetables stand. And they have lots and lots of watermelon!

Just look at them! It makes your mouth water just thinking about biting into a fresh watermelon.

Where is the Miller Farms fruit and vegetable stand?

Miller Farms opened its roadside fruits and vegetable stand Memorial Day Weekend. The stand is now open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday and is located at 4586 HWY 81 in Rush Springs, Oklahoma.

Does Miller Farms have more than just watermelons?

Watermelons are the best summer fruit in Oklahoma, but Miller Farms has more summer eats! They also have cantaloupes, tomatoes (red, green and cherry), peaches, plums, blueberries, green means, cucumbers, squash, zucchini, onions, potatoes and strawberries.

And the great thing is that everything at the stand is from Miller Farms! So it all goes from field to stand, and then home with you!

If you can't get enough Rush Springs watermelons, then you'll want to make plans to attend the annual Rush Springs Watermelon Festival. This year's festival will take place Saturday, August 10.
