Cottonwood Manor was closed down in 2004 after allegations of patient mistreatment, abuse, neglect, and other horrific details surfaced. It was eventually purchased by a pastor years after that and he hoped to turn it into a church, but that never happened and the place remained abandoned until it was ultimately torn down.

Not too sure exactly when it was torn down, but it was fairly recently. For years it was an abandoned building that locals and people from all over the state were fascinated by due to all the paranormal activity that supposedly went on there. All kinds of scary stories were being told, each more terrifying than the last!

There aren't a whole lot of videos available from the old Cottonwood Manor, just a handful on YouTube and other places. So what were some of the things ghost hunters and paranormal investigators experienced at the site? Most told of an unexplained heavy and unwelcoming feeling throughout the hospital. Others claimed to have seen ghosts, orbs, shadow figures and spirits roaming the halls and rooms of the hospital.

Some say that the spirits of former patients that died there due to the abuse, neglect, and mistreatment they received, remain there as angry specters. The place was also allegedly used by a coven of witches and Satanists who performed rituals and sacrifices at the site. There were even stories of ritualistic killings and murders that took place there. It was definitely a spooky place, sadly it's been torn down so nothing remains.
