Don't forget daylight saving time ends this Sunday, November 6th(11-06-22) at 2:00-am. Once again we'll be adjusting the clocks, at least we'll gain an hour of sleep in the deal. I guess "fall back" beats "spring forward."
For years now it's been discussed and even voted on by the state and even the Federal government to do away with this senseless practice. However, no matter how the vote goes we still end up adjusting clocks.
NOTICE: Daylight saving time is this Sunday, November 6th (11-06-22) at 2:00-am
Both the Oklahoma House and Senate voted and passed bills looking to end the practice of daylight saving time. Even the U.S. Senate unanimously passed a bill called the "Sunshine Protection Act" seeking to end it.
Despite legislation and the vast majority of people wanting to put an end to daylight saving time it still hasn't happened. After passing the U.S. Senate the bill that would stop this madness stalled in the U.S. House.

Maybe, just maybe they'll finally once and for all pass something to end daylight saving time. There's even talk that it could be as soon as next year. That's if things work out at both the state and Federal levels.
That would mean we'd set the clocks back this fall, then forward in the spring for daylight saving time, but after that, it would become the new permanent time going forward.
