We're hoping the latest rain forecast in Oklahoma isn't a trick! Oklahoma could sure use a big treat of rain, and the extended forecast has some areas of Oklahoma receiving nearly six inches of rain within the next five days.

Halloween is looking to remain cool and dry throughout the day. It will be the perfect trick-or-treating weather this evening! Some of the little ones may need a light jacket though. According to the National Weather Service in Norman, Thursday will be the most pleasant day before the next three to five days, which are expected to filled with rain and possibly some severe storms.

Flash flooding is expected to be a concern Saturday and Sunday. Severe storms are expected to pop up Saturday bringing in large hail and damaging winds. More severe storms are expected Sunday and Monday with more large hail and damaging winds.

How much rain is Oklahoma expected to get this weekend?

Oklahoma has been extremely dry all October. According to News 9 Meteorologist Lacey Swope, this October has been Oklahoma's ninth driest October with a grand total of .34 inches of rain for the entire month.

But November is looking like it will start off as a soaker! According to the Oklahoma Mesonet, over the weekend, several areas of Oklahoma could see amounts of rain from less than an inch to nearly six inches! It looks like areas along I-44 will be the ones to see the most rain over the weekend.
