It seems that we have become immune to the word COVID. I know that when I hear it I just think, 'I've been vaccinated, and boosters, so I don't have to really worry about that.'

If you're in need of baby food, diapers or formula the BabyMobile will be making a stop in Lawton, Fort Sill early next week. You can go to the Great Plains Coliseum located at 920 South Sheridan Road.

The Comanche County Health Department is hosting a drive-thru COVID-19 testing clinic and announced they'll be extending their hours on select dates to accommodate testing and vaccinations.

Today at the Comanche County Health Department located at 1010 S.W. Sheridan Road they'll be hosting a vaccination clinic. You can walk in or make an appointment for a later date to get your first, second or third COVID-19 vaccinations.

If your child is in need of any immunizations in order to attend school the CCHD (Comanche County Health Department) is holding a "Back to School" immunization clinic.

Coming up this Wednesday, May 12th (05-12-21) the CCHD (Comanche County Health Department) will be hosting a drive thru COVID-19 vaccination event at the Great Plains Coliseum located at 920 South Sheridan Road from 8:00am until 6:00pm. You can just pull in and get your shot and no appointment is necessary. All persons that are age 16 plus are eligible. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to get vaccinated.

This past week the CCHD (Comanche County Health Department) has been on the move helping the Lawton, Fort Sill community get their COVID-19 vaccinations. Maybe you've seen the pop-up mobile vaccination clinics around town, or went to one yourself.

The City of Lawton, FISTA Development Trust Authority and the Comanche County Health Department have teamed up to make getting your COVID-19 vaccinations much easier. Starting today (02-22-21) the CCHD (Comanche County Health Department) will be set up in the Central Mall in the old Dillard's location doing COVID-19 vaccinations.

If you're needing to be tested for COVID-19 you can stop by the Cameron University parking lot on the corner of 38th Street and Gore Blvd. or go to the Comanche County Health Department 1010 S.W. Sheridan Road.

Last week the Comanche County Health Department held it's first COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the Great Plains Coliseum in Lawton and at the Community Center in Altus. Both locations provided vaccinations to those 65 years of age or older for Phase 2 of the vaccine rollout in the state and the Nation. Another vaccination clinic will be scheduled as soon as more vaccine becomes available.

If you're needing to be tested for COVID-19 you can stop by the Great Plains Coliseum 920 S.W. Sheridan Road or go to the Comanche County Health Department 1010 S.W. Sheridan Road. Both locations will have FREE drive thru COVID-19 testing today (01-05-21) and on (01-07-21) from 10:00am until 5:00pm.

This week the Comanche County Health Department announced that persons who are 65 years of age or older are now eligible for the COVID-19 vaccination. The health department will be performing vaccinations in both Lawton and in Altus. In Lawton they'll be set up at the Great Plains Coliseum and in Altus at the Community Center.
