Warm temperatures and thunderstorms are in the forecast for Oklahoma this week! Looks like spring is trying to come early in the Sooner State.

Oklahomans will LOVE the weather this week. We'll be seeing spring-like temperatures until weekend rain chances begin to move in.

Friday, Feb.2 is Groundhog Day! So we'll soon know if we'll see an early spring or more winter. As per tradition, if Punxsutawney Phil sees his shadow, we'll have six more weeks of winter, and if he doesn't we'll have an early spring.

Leading up to Groundhog Day, Oklahoma will have an early taste of spring with warm temperatures and thunderstorms. But by Friday, we could be told to prepare for another six weeks of winter.

Warmer temperatures are on tap for Oklahoma!

Oklahoma will see daytime highs in the 60s this week with overnight lows in the 30s. When the weekend thunderstorms roll in, temperatures will go back down into the 50s and 40s.

Thunderstorm chances are back in the Oklahoma forecast.

Thunderstorms are back in the Oklahoma forecast this week. Rain will start moving into the Sooner State Friday night and will last through Saturday evening. As of Monday, Jan. 29, thunderstorm chances are low for Friday night, especially for southern Oklahoma and western north Texas.
