Yes, having a good cow dog is essential when running a successful cattle operation. They can help push the cattle down the chute;  help to bring them in from the pasture; herd them to where you want them. Rowdy is a blue heeler/red heeler mix. Heelers are great cattle dogs! Rowdy is not that dog. He wants to be but, alas, he is not. Bless his heart.

I have an old cookbook from David's great grandmother.  I love that cookbook.  If I am going to make anything I have to check the Mace Family cookbook for a recipe first.  If there is one in there I have to make it over any other recipe I have. I guess that's part of being married to a Mace.

The Peterson Brothers from Kansas are getting more than a little attention for their video parody of LMFAO's "I'm Sexy and I Know It".  Their sister, Laura, helped shoot some of the video while the boys were doing what they do on the farm.  From sun up to sun down they feed, drive tractors and combines, and put up hay.  And star in viral videos like this one.
