Hard Freeze Continues, Warm Weekend Ahead for Oklahoma
Here we go again. Oklahoma has a chilly start to the week but as we move towards the weekend, we'll see warmer temperatures. Unfortunately, Oklahomans will need to plan for coats on Halloween.
It was a cold and wet weekend for Oklahoma! And that chilly weather has moved into this week with multiple hard freezes. These hard freezes will continue through Tuesday and Wednesday. Expected lows will be close to 20 degrees! It's definitely feeling more like winter than fall.
Make sure you're dripping your faucets over night the next two days! And please, please, please bring your pets in.
Oklahoma will warm up towards the end of the week!
A gradually warming will take place after Wednesday. Oklahomans can expect to be back in the low 70s for the first weekend of November. Overnight lows will also increase going from the 20s and 30s up to the low 50s. Now that seems more like fall weather to me!
Oklahoma will remain dry to start off November.
This week will be drastically different than last week. Oklahoma will remain dry for the next seven days.
When will winter return to Oklahoma?
With this recent bout of winter, it has Oklahomans wondering when Old Man Winter will return and stay. According to the Farmers Almanac, temperatures for Oklahoma in November are expected to be warmer-than-normal. But Oklahoma could be on the wetter side this month. But I don't think you'll ever hear an Oklahoman complain about the rain.
So it's looking like Oklahoma may be able to ward off winter for another month. But the rumor is that the Sooner State could see a white Christmas this year.
