
Oklahoma Could See a Warm Start To November
It's been a chilly end to October for Oklahoma. Parts of the state saw their first freeze of the season, but it looks like a warm-up is anticipated for the first week of November.
The NOAA's six to 10 day outlook is predicting above average temperatures for Oklahoma from Nov. 5-9. Luckily, above average temperatures for Oklahoma in November is around the 70s and maybe the 80s.
But still, that's pretty warm for November.
Above average temperatures could continue through mid November in Oklahoma.
The NOAA also released its eight to 14 day extended outlook, and above average temperatures are still expected for Oklahoma from Nov. 7-13. The only thing that could kick this above average temperature outlook is another strong cold front.

Could Oklahoma see snow on Thanksgiving this year?
The Farmers' Almanac's extended fall forecast calls for a fair, dry start with a wet finish in Oklahoma, and so far, they've been pretty accurate. As for Thanksgiving, the Farmers' Almanac is expecting a "meteorological mixed bag."
The Farmers' Almanac does expect snow and rain to complicate holiday travel plans for the central parts of the country, which includes Oklahoma. But they do expect clearing skies in time for Thanksgiving Day.
Oklahoma has seen many Thanksgiving holidays with either above-average temperatures or several inches of snow. So either type of weather wouldn't surprise longtime Oklahomans.
